Policies & Procedures
NOBODY likes to read rules and policies, we TOTALLY get it. BUT this information IS important so you can know what to expect from us, and what we also expect from you before you rent a yard greeting!
PLEASE take a minute to get acquainted with how we operate at Sign Gypsies!
*When signs are booked &/or paid for, you have agreed to all policies prior to setup*

By paying the invoice you agree to our terms and conditions below.
**Bookings are NOT confirmed until paid in full**
**THIS IS A RENTAL SERVICE, YOU MAY NOT KEEP OUR SIGNS**
**WE CANNOT STAKE OUR SIGNS IN ARTIFICIAL GRASS**
**PLEASE WATER YOUR LAWN DAY BEFORE AND TURN OFF SPRINKLERS DAY OF YOUR BOOKING**
2.
PAYMENT / REFUND POLICY
*Bookings are reserved once payment is received.
*Cancellations / Full Refund: 24 hours prior to delivery or hazardous weather*
(*Hazardous weather is defined as strong winds, lightening, hailstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods or any other conditions deemed by the local weather service.)
*PLEASE prepare your lawn for our installations. We will NOT give refunds if we get to your house and the lawn is not prepared, and we are unable to install the signs, you MUST water, water, water!!!
3.
RENTAL STATUS / DURATION OF DISPLAY
*Your sign display is a 1 day RENTAL unless otherwise noted in the invoice and booking. (We set up in the evenings sometime after 6pm and we pick up the next night after 7pm)
4.
SIGNS
This is a RENTAL yard greeting sign of Sign Gypsies Tampa. We use these letters and graphics on a daily basis and by the nature of our business, they are exposed to the elements outside. Sadly we can't keep all of our inventory in perfect condition as these are used outside on a daily basis. It is routine to see normal wear and tear on the letters and graphics.
5.
YARD CONDITIONS
*Water your yard in the days leading up to your delivery (if it has not rained).
*We set up signs on lawns, defined as soil with grass on the top.
*We cannot place signs in: concrete, asphalt, landscaping, artificial grass or hard-packed soil. *Underlying rocks and other objects may effect the placement of the display.
6.
DELIVERY
*Someone in the household MUST BE NOTIFIED that we will be on the property.
*Please leave a porch light on for us for easier address identification.
*We do not guarantee a specific arrival time within the PM set up window.
*We respectfully reserve the right to refuse delivery to sites deemed unsafe.
*We will not set up signs in hazardous weather* conditions and will issue a refund.
*If we cannot access the setup address (Ie. wrong gate code, locked gates, etc), we will refund you -25% for our time to pull your sign and travel for delivery. Please ensure you give us proper access to the setup address.
7.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
*DO NOT allow people or pets to play on or around the sign display.
8.
RENTER LIABILITY - DAMAGED / MISSING SIGN GYPSIES PROPERTY
*You, the renter, are financially liable for any damaged or missing Sign Gypsy display.
*DO NOT remove, move, or rearrange the displayed sign. Contact us instead. $20 will be charged if signs have been moved.
*DO NOT attach balloons, tape, or staples to any part of the display.
*DO NOT weed-eat, mow, or edge in the area where signs are displayed. $40 cleaning fee will be charged for grass stains on our signs, any damaged signs you will be charged price to replace, plus tax & shipping.
*DO NOT allow pets to chew, scratch, or urinate on the signs.
*DO NOT use sprinkler systems in the area where signs are displayed. $40 cleaning fee will be charged to dry all signs, you will be charged price to replace any warped signs from being wet plus tax and shipping.
9.
PHOTOGRAPHY / SOCIAL MEDIA NOTICE
*We reserve the right to photograph your sign for use on our social media pages.
*We encourage you to pose next to the display for photos and share them with us.
10.
ADVERTISEMENT PLACEMENT
*We will place a small sign in your yard with our company contact information.
*Contact us in the case that your area does not permit displays or advertisements.
11.
SIGN GYPSIES LIABILITY STATEMENT
Sign Gypsies and all representatives are not responsible nor liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:
Customer agrees to protect, defend, indemnify Sign Gypsies Bakersfield and hold its officers, employees and agents free and harmless from and against any and all losses, penalties, damages, settlements, costs, charges, professional fees, or other expenses or liabilities of every kind and character arising out of or relating to any and all claims, liens, demands, obligations, actions, proceedings or causes of action of every kind and character in connection with or arising directly or indirectly out of the Sign Gypsies Bakersfield rental agreement and/or the performance thereof. Customer further agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for any such claims, etc., at his sole expense and agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if it (claims, etc.) is groundless, false or fraudulent. The agreement is in effect for the duration of the rental process as defined by the effective dates of the rental agreement.
